R Velusamy, President of Mahindra Technology & Product Development, told Business Today TV's Chetan Bhutani that Mahindra is focused on delivering performance vehicles. Over the past three years, 2200 engineers have worked on advancing EV technology. Velusamy highlighted that the key trend for the next 3-5 years will be achieving 20-80% battery charging in just 20 minutes, a challenge that requires advanced battery technology. The company has prioritized battery reliability, aiming for an 80 kWh battery to provide a 500 km range.
